Jamie was a great writer, and one of the nicest people you could ever hope to know. Words can't do justice to how much he will be missed.
You can find links to Jamie's work here, and Aaron Polson has announced that the profits from this year's 52 STITCHES will go to the memorial fund for Jamie's children.
There is also a memorial page for Jamie and his wife Ann, which has a guestbook and more information on the memorial fund.

Aw fuck. I saw the blog title and hoped it was some sort of 'bad taste' meme. Awful news.
absolutely tragic. it's still sinking in...
Thanks for the link to the memorial page, Natalie.
I'm rendered speechless...
It's been 24 hours since I heard, and I still can't come up with something to say that's anywhere near what I'm thinking.
Words do fail miserably at a time like this, even for those of us who try so hard to make words work.
I'm just shocked. Jamie was so young, it's hard to believe he's gone.
It's horrible and tragic.
Thank you for posting this. My name is Brandy and I grew up and graduated HS with Jamie. We went our seperate ways after that but we reconnected on Facebook and he hasn't changed.
He was never negative and was the nicest person around, he always had something positive or funny to say... He will be missed!
He was one of the best people I knew and will always be in our thoughts and prayers as will Ann and the children.
