1. Hong Kong: I wrote six chapter of a novella I first attempted during the September trip. I kept the spirit of the first scene, but changed the characters and story. I stopped at six chapters because I don't know what happens next. I have a general idea, but not enough to put words down. This is one of those stories that has to be dug out, slowly and relentlessly.
2. In Japan, I asked myself "What if a man couldn't stop masturbating?" I know, I know. Penis. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized it would be a special kind of hell.
3. I went in a different direction after that, and wrote "Unwelcome." I wanted to give it a different title, but it would have ruined the ending. The story is based on two very different things I love in Tokyo. One love is as pure as the driven snow. As for the other...

This, more than anything, has made me decide to become a millionaire horror writer. I imagine Stephen King felt much the same way.

The other love...not so pure, huh?
Now get editing! :)
All that inspiration in Asia :)
I'm impressed that you wrote at all while you were on vacation! Of course, now you can call it a working holiday. :)
But at least you have shorts to edit. :D
A man who can't stop masterbating . . . hmm.
I have missed your blog, Natalie. I'm catching up now.
I may need a drink. :)
That's quite a beautiful haul. Sometimes we don't get a choice, we gotta write when it comes. Editing... well, that can usually wait. Just that it nags. Like a little old woman. :/
Mmmm, impure love...
