I finished the story that took me two weeks to finish. I even thought of a title, changed a character's name, and edited it. All this left me very, very stressed as evidenced by the fact that I haven't been able to sleep since. I had a long weekend, but it wasn't very restful but thankfully we didn't do any yard work, I think that would have killed me. Now I can hold on to the story for another month, until
THE RED PENNY PAPERS opens for short fiction subs. Which begs the question, why bothering writing and editing it in two weeks? I have no idea. All I know is that I would have gone crazy if I didn't keep writing. I still went crazy, but as any writer will tell you there's no way around that.
In other news, I'm ready to edit "The B-Team", the horror novella I wrote last year. My plan is to get "The B-Team" and "OCEAN" edited/published before I move on to my novels. I had very specific soundtracks for each novella, a best of Elvis CD and "FISH & PEACE (Gyoko), respectively. But first, I'm going to write another short story : )

I have a new short story that I started getting down, but I really need to keep editing the novel.
I've said it before, but I really do envy that you have so many first drafts waiting in the wings. Love the cartoon in an odd sort of way. :D
That cartoon is the product of a damaged mind.
I do that a lot. A LOT. Like I can't stop, if I stop, it won't be done, and if it's not done, they won't shut up, and if they don't shut up arrrrghhhhh!
Like that.
August 1, I think for RPP. Yay!
I totally understand how the boy in the cartoon feels. Some things transcend language barriers.
